So what exactly is Seesmic bringing in the new version for its Android application? Well for starters, there has be a complete overhaul of the User Interface, the application has added Salesforce Chatter integration and bids to improve functionality in general.
What is Salesforce Chatter? It is the company’s social networking application for the enterprise, and it has now been integrated into Seesmic’s Android app, as it will now allow users to read their Chatter feeds and comment on them, view groups, contacts, profiles and also post updates directly from the application. One interesting feature is that this app will also allow the user to cross-post updates to and from Twitter back into a Chatter account. This app also aims to make Tweeting easier as it adds an autocomplete of friends usernames feature on Twitter. “Attachment count” button has also been brought to the application which will help users to view all the photos and videos that they’ve attached, along with their file size.
Seesmic will also let you pull in your streams from other sites such as Facebook, YouTube, Foursquare, LinkedIn etc. This Android app will now also be coming with versions in Spanish, Japanese, German, French, Korean, and Polish languages. It looks like Seesmic has done a very good job with this update, and it can be assumed that this app will definitely get some great reviews.
